The Mountain Restaurant on Asfordby Hill in Melton Mowbray; a French Ski Lodge inspired Restaurant serving freshly prepared food all year round. You can be sure to always be welcomed with a smile and fantastic service, all our food is made completely from fresh with locally sourced ingredients meaning you have the best experience in our destination Garden Centre.

We are open from 9am – 5pm, serving food until 3.30pm and then we continue serving our yummy cakes and homemade scones served with jam butter and clotted cream of course. You can view all our menus below, breakfast, lunch and our Sunday menu below.

Whatever you fancy we can accommodate, whether it be a hearty panini or our famous French speciality the Tartiflette – layered jacket potato, white wine, garlic, onions, bacon & cream bubbling hot in delicious Reblechon cheese, served in a hot pan with a side salad & crusty bread.

All of our dishes are freshly prepared to order including our homemade burgers using Owen Taylor a local butchers. Our chefs work hard to ensure that all of our food is as fresh and locally sourced as possible, we also cater for dietary requirements including gluten and dairy intolerance just speak to your waiter / waitress upon arrival.

Our Sunday Roasts are very popular, all our meat is locally sourced from Owen Taylor in Nottingham and hand seasoned by our chefs. We have live music every Sunday from 1pm – 3pm that features quiet background music, perfect for a relaxing Sunday lunch with friends or family. You can view our menu below. £29.95 for two people includes one of our homemade scones with clotted cream, jam and butter. A selection of homemade cakes, freshly prepared sandwiches (ham and tomato or cheese and pickle) and tea or filter coffee. We can cater for all your dietary requirements including vegetarian, just let us know when you are making the booking.
